Do you remember that even the best piece of advice is worthless if you don't use it?

Just think about why there are some many Internet sites that offer you Internet-based business solutions. Those pounding on you with "paid per surf" systems and other "creatures" claiming some fast cash gains.

Let me assure you that the authors of these sites don't make a lot of money by looking at some ad banners stretching over the half of their monitors or by reading megabytes of garbage e-mails sent to their accounts.

Ironically, most of them opened their eyes and discovered that it is impossible to make a living off that*! Most frequently they themselves are victims of some con artists and only over time they were able to learn the bitter truth about the business they had been promoting.

Before I present facts, ask yourself the following: Can you believe a person claiming huge earnings when you see a total lack of professionalism on his page?

I'm not talking about the layout but the META markers. Believe me, repeating of key words in the page title and description and using words like "sex", "mp3", and "cash" in order to increase site traffic have nothing to do with professionalism.

Remember that the Internet market is pretty similar to other markets. What would you think about a TV channel if its top news anchor was stripping to increase the viewing audience? Some people would like it, but would that TV station be trustworthy? .

I think I will not convince too many people this way, so let's present some facts.

Let's assume that a certain company pays 0.5 $ per hour for watching banners while surfing the net (in fact, the rates are much lower). How much is an hour of Internet cruising?

Do I need to write more? It's only 1/6 of the connection fee earned by having 1/5 of the screen occupied by advertising garbage that requires constant confirmation of your presence.

1/6 of the fee, assuming that you receive 0.5 $ per hour and all of the minutes are calculated in your earnings, which is never the case.

I've seen people who could run three programs in hope that they would recover the cost of Internet connection. I'll comment it this way: If somebody is able to force himself into looking at flashing banners taking up 3/5 of their screen just to break even, this is just sad and pathetic.

Where is the promised fortune? They hardly managed to pay their phone bill while nobody in the household could really use the Internet – and that's all for nothing.

Let's not even talk about night rates between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, I usually have something a lot better to do than looking at some idiotic banners.

There are still so-called "Get Paid to Read Email" systems, which pay about 5 cents per read e-mail (the one that is confirmed by clicking on an included link). Out of decency I will pass on commenting on them.

Let's get back for a moment to webmasters who make those "earn-over-internet" ;). If they have opened their eyes, why do they keep on cheating others?

They have discovered the obvious. If you can make any money on these systems, it is through recruiting other suckers, who will be working for them (multi-level marketing). That's why there are so many pages of this type. All of them offer a link to a form to be filled out, which has the name of a referrer. The referrer will profit from each new recruitee.

Those are all methods of NOT earning money on the net...

...oops! I think I forgot to mention the most important thing:

You can't go around it since as I've mentioned before – the Internet market is like a regular market, which means you have to work hard if you want to SUCCEED.

In the end, I'd like to ask you not to be fooled because in the process you may become discouraged for life from jumping at a chance offered by legitimate business opportunities and that would be the greatest injustice ever done to you.
