Does Google help you with positioning?
Google has made available to all webmasters a special tool for creating
service maps. Sitemaps Gen creates a map of your site in XML.
Everyone knows how important in the search engine positioning is the size of
a website. Webmasters, however, very often encounter some problems with indexing
their pages in search engines.
You may use the tool provided by Google to help Google index all your pages.
The script, written in Python, will make a map of your website for you. More
information on this can be found on the following page:

Generated map is not enough. Google has made it possible for you to submit
your map to Google:
http://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps
This submission will help the Google spider to index all your pages.
Installation manual:
1. unzip it and place it in any folder on the server.
2. copy sitemap.xml.gz and sitemap.xml to the main folder.
3. Change attribute to CHMOD 666
4. the same for settings folder and all the files within it
5. Run the script
6. don't use an automatic PING GOOGLE option
7. For most website, check "compress sitemap"
8. Wait for the map to be generated
9. Save your map
10. Submit it to Google (address above)
